Boss Mechanics

edit
  • Enrage: Below 55% HP, the Bandit Leader enters an enraged state, hitting noticeably harder for the rest of the fight.
  • His spear thrust deals Heavy Damage by default, switching to Mystical Damage whenever it's crackling with electricity.
  • Lightning Beam: A forward beam of lightning dealing Mystical Damage that gradually rotates to follow the aggro'd player; circling him avoids getting caught in it.
  • Whirlwind Attack: Four cone-shaped projectiles dealing Quick Damage, dodged by stepping aside once you see the charge-up.

Strategy

edit

Watch his spear for the electrified glow: that's your cue that his hits are about to shift from Heavy to Mystical damage. Circling him defeats the Lightning Beam entirely, and the Whirlwind's cone of projectiles can be avoided with a simple sidestep once it winds up.
