Archery
Archery is a combat skill in Winds of Valen. It features the use of bows and arrows, and is often paired with evasion armor.
How to Train Archery
- Equip a bow that requires the Archery skill.
- Equip arrows that are compatible with the equipped bow.
- Be in an Offensive stance (change this in the Stance tab, default hotkey: V).
Once a bow and arrows are equipped, click on an enemy to attack. The character will fire an arrow from the equipped bow toward the selected target.
Arrows used for shooting must be placed in the Arrow Slot. This slot holds the arrows that will be fired. Extra arrows stay in your normal inventory until moved into the Arrow Slot. Each shot consumes one arrow, so make sure you have enough before combat.
Arrows can currently be purchased from the Archery Stall in Valen Gate and Valen City.
Benefits of Training
- Improves accuracy and damage dealt with Archery weapons.
- Unlocks stronger bows and arrows.
Experience
- 25% of the experience gained from damage dealt is also applied to Health.
- Higher level enemies give more experience.
