Boss Mechanics
[edit | edit source]- Weapon & Shield Swapping: The Skeleton Pioneer alternates between:
- Mace – Deals Heavy Damage
- Sword – Deals Quick Damage
- It begins combat without a shield, but may equip and swap between:
- Parry Shield – Blocks Quick Damage
- Wooden Shield – Blocks Heavy Damage
- Stomp Attack: The Skeleton Pioneer leaps into the air and slams the ground upon landing, dealing Heavy Damage in an area-of-effect (AOE)
- Charge Attack: The Skeleton Pioneer charges forward in a straight line, dealing continuous Quick Damage. A red glint briefly appears before charging, but the dodge window is small
- Falling Stalactites: Stalactites periodically fall around the Skeleton Pioneer, creating multiple small AOEs that deal Heavy Damage
