Boss Mechanics
- Weapon & Shield Swapping: The Skeleton Pioneer alternates between:
- Mace – Deals Heavy Damage
- Sword – Deals Quick Damage
- It begins combat without a shield, but may equip and swap between:
- Parry Shield – Blocks Quick Damage
- Wooden Shield – Blocks Heavy Damage
- Stomp Attack: The Skeleton Pioneer leaps into the air and slams the ground upon landing, dealing Heavy Damage in an area-of-effect (AOE)
- Charge Attack: The Skeleton Pioneer charges forward in a straight line, dealing continuous Quick Damage. A red glint briefly appears before charging, but the dodge window is small
- Falling Stalactites: Stalactites periodically fall around the Skeleton Pioneer, creating multiple small AOEs that deal Heavy Damage
Strategy
Track his weapon and shield swaps — Mace deals Heavy Damage, Sword deals Quick Damage, and his shield blocks whichever damage type it's suited for. Watch for the red glint before his Charge Attack and stay clear of falling Stalactite AOEs.
