Archery

Archery is a combat skill in Winds of Valen. It features the use of bows and arrows, and is often paired with evasion armor.

Overview

How to Train Archery - Equip a weapon that requires an Archery skill to use. - Equip a type of arrows that is compatible with the equipped bow. - Be in an Offensive stance. (Can be changed in Stance tab. Default Hotkey: V)

Benefits of Training - Improves your accuracy and the damage you deal with your Archery weapon. - Unlocks stronger weaponry.

Experience - 25% of the experience gained from the damage dealt is applied to Health.

- Higher level enemies give more experience.

🏹 How Archery Works

To use archery, players must first equip a bow and obtain arrows that are compatible with that bow. Arrows can currently be purchased from the Archery Stall in Valen Gate, while crafting arrows will be introduced in a future update.

Once a bow and arrows are equipped, players can attack enemies by clicking on them. When an attack is performed, the character fires an arrow from the equipped bow toward the selected target.

Arrows that are actively used for shooting are placed in the Arrow Slot. This slot holds the arrows that will be fired during combat. Any additional arrows remain in the player's normal inventory until they are moved into the Arrow Slot.

Each shot consumes one arrow from the Arrow Slot, so players should make sure they carry enough arrows before heading into combat.
