== Tips ==
* Reach level 30 to start catching Bluegill, then run them through a Bait Knife to keep your bait supply topped up.
* Bank your Bluegill for Essence production later, and bank Rare Blue Gill separately for Fish Oil.
* Training [[Potion Making]] unlocks fishing potions that let you catch Bluegill faster.
* If you'd rather skip fishing early bait fish, Common Trout can be bought from the Fishing Stall for about 8g each and cut for bait instead.
* Once your bait and potions are stocked up, move to the Elder Trout spot for the best XP rate.
* Carp sells to the Fishing Stall for 210g and is solid income once you hit level 50 — Rare Carp can't be traded to other players but still sells to the stall for 2,240g.
